The Hemel BID
Located in Hertfordshire, Hemel Hempstead is a historic town centre which was later developed as a new town.
Our town centre is home to two shopping centres: The Marlowes and Riverside, a traditional market which runs Wednesday to Saturday all year round, numerous independent retailers and cafes, plus much more.
An exciting plan to redevelop the Marlowes Shopping Centre to include a multi screen cinema is also in progress. Hemel town centre is looked after by the Hemel Hempstead Business Improvement District (BID).
The BID is a business-led and business-funded organisation which runs various events every year, operates cleaning projects and runs safety initiatives to improve the area for businesses, visitors and residents.
