our bid groups
One of the BID’s key aims is to facilitate joint working across the town to utilise the skills and knowledge we have available locally. This is achieved through two key groups.
ADVISORY GROUP
The Advisory Group meet to discuss the aims of the BID, ongoing projects and new suggestions from the BID Manager. The group are tasked with ensuring the BID achieves the goals set out in the business plan. The group is business-led and includes representatives from across the town centre and from Dacorum Borough Council. SECURITY GROUP
The security group is a monthly meeting attended by key people in the town with a focus on safety and security. Topics covered during the meeting include information sharing, updating security policies and targeting known issues. The group includes representatives from Hertfordshire Police, Dacorum Borough Council, The Marlowes Shopping Centre, Riverside Shopping Centre and Saunders Market.
